Automate Expenses

Set up an Apple Shortcut Automation so that every time you use Apple Pay, the transaction is instantly added to your trip expenses log — no need to remember or enter it manually!


  1. Go to shortcuts automation


  2. Choose transaction


  3. Select your cards


  4. Select New Blank Automation


  5. Tap in Search Actions and search for Create Expense


  6. Tap in Total cost and select Shortcut Input


  7. In the Shortcut Input options, select Amount


  8. Now tap in the Expense description and select Merchant


  9. Done! Future transactions will be added to your current or next trip automatically.
